APPRECIATION:ANY WOMAN

Image
APPRECIATION : ANY WOMAN `Any Woman’ is a poem written by Katharine Tynan. She was an lrish-born writer  mainly known for her novels and poetry. Her human Sympathy is keen, tender, warm and constant. This poem `Any Woman’ Presents the all-embracing power of a woman to hold a family together. Women do always stand for their family and children. They sacrifice their comforts for their family. They always support their family. But as it happens in so many cases, they are often not supported by the menfolk. In this poem, the woman is compared to the pillars of her family. She works for her children, because she believes that without a mother, good children cannot be shaped. In her house, from floor to roof, she has to do all things. She stands as a wall against all dangers, and she also tries to act as a door against the wind and snow of troubles that many afflict the family. Towards the end of the poem, she prays to God that she should be allowed to goon living till her children grow up.

PLACE OF WOMEN IN SOCIETY

Image
Place of women in society Women form about one half of the total population of the world. Thus, they have every right to enjoy equal right and duties with men.  It is, however, unfortunate that women have been neglected during the ages,  particularly since the middle ages when they were pushed behind the four walls of the house and were forbidden to undertake any work which required callibre, enterprise and responsibility. They were considered weak, frail and inferior.  Women have now got the right to vote. They have equal fundamental right and duties with men. They are considered fit to be selected to most of the jobs. Now, we have women officers, judges, teachers, doctors, pilots etc... In fact, they are there in every  field including sports, film industry, publishing industry etc...  Modern women, especially high in society, are generally high educated. But the condition of women in lower society, particularly in rural and slum areas is still far from satisfactory. These women are

CRIME AND PUNISHMENT

Writeup,             CRIME AND PUNISHMENT  spare the rod and spoil the child was a dictum prevalent in the past. The children nowadays are too difficult to educate. They don't have much respect for their parents or for other adults. For this reason, parents dont know what to do with their children and they become despirate. Bcz of this despiration, they cant find other ways than beating their children to make them learn and disiplined i feel this can be useful in some cases if done in a controlled manner. But if u use the rod in excess, it can be causes serious problems for the child and also for the family. so the questions Comes, is it really necessary to beat children to educate them?                Many people think that if u educate a small child using the rod, beating him and punishment him, you can have a good control over him. They feel that they can some how know that the child behave well and that he will learn to have respect for his parents and others. They feel it would

My Favorite Poem

Please read and comment.  -Afthash Ameen If You Forget Me”                               - Pablo Neruda I want you to know one thing. You know how this is: if I look at the crystal moon, at the red branch of the slow autumn at my window, if I touch near the fire the impalpable ash or the wrinkled body of the log, everything carries me to you, as if everything that exists, aromas, light, metals, were little boats that sail toward those isles of yours that wait for me. Well, now, if little by little you stop loving me I shall stop loving you little by little. If suddenly you forget me do not look for me, for I shall already have forgotten you. If you think it long and mad, the wind of banners that passes through my life, and you decide to leave me at the
