After the untimely death of Shri.Lal Bahadur Shastri, in January 1966 Indira Gandhi was selected as the Prime minister of India. She served the post till 1977. In 1971 she was awarded Bharat Ratna. Mary Kom        Born in a poor family of rural Manipur, she always dreamed of becoming a world champion in boxing.
