DAIRY ENTRY

Wednesday                                                           25-09-2020 Corona made me sad be cause of all the happiness that I missed .I miss my friends, teachers and school. This kind of  contagious disease put everything in standstill. How mannerless this disease is !!!! It ruined both our school life and our happiness. I can't see a happy face in these  days .If we were having the normal time how glorious it would be. No one can fill this emptiness through mere words or wishes.  I can't bear the sorrow of missing my schooldays, and class hours. I need that days back.   I need the fun of my school life. I see the smiling face of my teachers, but iam not ready to accept. Oh, God give me back those good old days. Still I hope to relive the good old days. - Yaseen

HAPPIEST MAN IN THE WORLD

Image
Who is the happiest man in the world? If you Google it, the name "Matthieu Ricard" pops up. Matthieu Ricard, 69, is a Tibetan Buddhist monk originally from France who has been called "the world's happiest man." That's because he participated in a 12-year brain study on meditation and compassion led by a neuroscientist from the University of Wisconsin, Richard Davidson. Davidson hooked up Ricard's head to 256 sensors and found that when Ricard was meditating on compassion, his mind was unusually light.  Ricard — who says he sometimes meditates for entire days without getting bored — admits he's a generally happy person (although he feels his "happiest man" title is a media-driven overstatement).  He spoke with Business Insider at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Here's his advice for how to be happy. To Ricard, the answer comes down to altruism. The reason is because thinking about yourself, and how to make things better f

POEM COLLECTION OF ROBERT FROST

Image
STOPPING BY THE WOODS ON A SNOWY EVENING Whose woods these are I know. His house is in the village though; He will not see woodsopping here To watch his woods fill up with snow. My little horse must think it queer To stop without a farmhouse near Between the woods and frozen lake The darkest evening of the year. He gives his harness bells a shake To ask if there is some mistake. The only other sound's the sweep Of easy wind and downy flake. The woods are lovely, dark and deep. But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep. MY  NOVEMBER GUEST My Sorrow, when she's here with me, Thinks these dark days of autumn rain Are beautiful as days can be; She loves the bare, the withered tree; She walks the sodden pasture lane. Her pleasure will not let me stay. She talks and I am fain to list: She's glad the birds are gone away, She's glad her simple worsted grey Is silver now with clinging mist. The desolate, deserted trees, The faded

THE SECRET OF HAPPINESS

Image
Secret of happiness lies in the simplification of life. simple living encourages high thinking and it leads to contentment and happiness. Contentment imparts inner wealth, the wealth of the mind. A contented man is a ruthless lover of virtues like truth. beauty, love, goodness, charity and kindness. This love makes him attain Happiness. Our countless desires and aspirations are hard to be satisfied. And here lies the the secret of our sadness.  Simplification of life does not mean that a man should live the life of an ascetic and renounce the world. In the womb of renunciation lies happiness. Renunciation means to give to others what you have. Kings remain unhappy in spite of their great riches because some of them are not good givers.  There is a sense of happiness in doing one's work honestly and efficiently. pleasure of a man should be harmless. A drunkard feels pleasure in drinking,a gambler seeks pleasure and gets in the dice,a robber gets pleasure in looting etc....But this kind
