"TODAY'S READER, TOMMOROW'S LEADER"

"TODAY'S  READER,  TOMMOROW'S  LEADER"                              " Reading maketh a full man, conference a ready man, writing an exact man".This very famous quote of Francis Bacon clears the importance of reading. Reading is as necessary for our mind as food is for our body. People read for many purpose, such as for academic development, widens the horizon of thinking and entertainment. We use to read newspapers in the morning. It is a part of many people's daily routine. Reading books refresh as when the clouds of sorrows darken our life.     It is significant of reading that we all can conveniently learn various things without much seeing or hearing them in life. Therefore it is really not matter how high education we are persuing or how much experience we have. We cannot become a full man unless we keep reading through out in our life.     It is often said that a person gets to know about his life also others

THE PERSON I LIKE MOST

The person I like most is Mahatma Gandhi . He is one of the greatest productions of the 20th century to the world. Non violence ,truth and sacrifice are the greatest contributions of this great man to the world .people, in general , have  the belief that spiritual values like, truth and non-violence have no place in politics. But  Gandhiji proved the importance of them in his political struggle with the British in India . Besides his idea of 'Grama swaraj'  is the greatest contributions to the economic thought . He wanted each village to be self sufficient ."janakiyasuthrana programmes" of the Govt .of Kerala is the result of it. He had many useful programmes for the unity of India. But many of the indians failed to understand him. They thought that he was against the hindus . So, a hindu raised his hand against him .His death is described as the death of a great hindu by another hindu.

With immense pleasure I welcome all  my dear students to our English blog,www.studentenglishblog.blogspot.com. To  have proficiency in English we have to use it in maximum possible ways. Unfortunately writing in English has been limited to write the term end exams. Obviously it's a deliberate mistake that we have been committing for long. I strongly suggest my students take the privilege of writing in our English blog. The feeling of being read should be gratifying . Make use of all the possibilities of this platform for creative writing. Eagerly waiting to see the writers of S2D
